WhatsApp is rolling out larger groups of up to 1024 participants for WhatsApp beta Android and iOS users. WhatsApp had just released an optional subscription plan for some select WhatsApp business accounts- WhatsApp premium. According to the reports the Meta-owned company is again ready with one more important feature this week.

You all know that WhatsApp regularly keeps on updating itself with new features. Being one of the most in-demand social media platforms it has to keep bringing improvements in its user interface. Recently the app has added many useful features to enhance its user experience.

WhatsApp enables larger groups of up to 1024 participants

A previous article released in June by WABetaInfo the leading WhatsApp news source reported about a new group feature. It was the ability to add up to 512 participants to groups. This feature was then made available only to some select beta testers. This feature brings you the ability to create a larger group than before.

According to the WhatsApp news portal, this week the WhatsApp Dev team has again increased the group limit. Now you will be able to add up to 1024 participants to groups. WABetaInfo has also released a screenshot of the larger group participants feature. The image reveals that now some select beta Android and iOS users will be able to create larger groups than earlier.

To check if you are among those lucky beta testers, try creating a group with this increased number. You can also try adding new participants to an already existing group. This section will show you the group participant limit. It will display the new 1024 in the ‘add participants’ section.

But if it still shows 512 that means the feature is yet not available to your WhatsApp account. As mentioned in earlier reports WhatsApp is also working to bring new tools for group admins that will give them more control over these larger groups. The report further added that community subgroups also support this new group limit.

Those who have not yet received this feature will get it in a future update of the app. For more information on all upcoming new releases of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, web/Desktop, and Windows keep following us.
