WhatsApp is working on a new feature Group icon editing feature for Desktop users. This feature is already available on WhatsApp beta Android and beta iOS devices. WhatsApp Group Icon editing feature for Desktop
As per the reports of WABetaInfo, previous year WhatsApp rolled out a new feature for groups. In this feature the group participants can create their own customized image to use as a group icon. These custom images can be made with the help of a special in – app tool called ‘group icon editor’.
Earlier this special editing tool was only available to all WhatsApp beta Android and IOS users. But in this current update the platform is finally working to develop the group icon editor for Desktop users too. In the available screenshot released by the reliable WhatsApp news source you can see a preview of the feature.
You can see that there is a new added option called ‘Emoji & sticker’. So, now when any group participant wants to select a different photo for group icon they can easily do it with this newly added option. However most of you must be already knowing about this feature. Those who have used this feature in Android or iOS device know that you can create icon with it quickly.
You can choose the background color, emoji or even a sticker for your group’s icon. As mentioned earlier this feature is currently under development process so it is not available to beta testers.
