It might be a bit hard to find a healthy food especially when one lives in an urban centre compared to people who live upcountry.In the rural areas it is very easy for the people who live there to get the healthy foods readily available since they plant them.Urban yowns have a lot if indytriesbthat are even capable of making the same product such as eggs that are artificial.This brings out a debate to whether a healthy diet is an easy thing to get.

In our todays world,it can be very challenging to know what is healthy and what is not.This is because there have been so many sources that have different information concerning what is healthy and what is not.This article is going to guide you to a Heathy diet in Kenya.

Kenya has a wide range of foods that are healthy to the body such as Vegetables and fruits.Fruits such as bananas have a high calorie content and are easily broken down into simple sugars such as fructose and sucrose which helps in reoxidizing the body by releasing energy. The same happens when one takes berries and apples.in vegetables cabbage offers a good source of roughage which aids in preventing constipation and keeps the body hydrated.

In Kenya,the main staple food is maize.Most people in Kenya tend to love maize and every product that comes out of maize.When maize is grinded,it makes a white maize flour that is used in making ugali,the most popular dish in the country.Ugali popularly known as “corn cake” is atleast taken once or twice in every Kenya home everyday.It couples well with a samptuous meat stew,collards well known as “sukumawiki”,spinach,cabbage and amaranthus well known as “terere”

A healthy diet includes foods that are free from health risks such as high cholesterol levels or any other industrial fat saturated foods. Eating healthy does not necessarily mean that you should refrain from  calorie-dense foods but it actually means that you could eat this type of foods in controlled measures.Eating healthy means taking a complete balanced diet which contains equal measures of protein, carbohydrate and vitamins.These three balance well and brings out the best in a person’s general health.Drinking a lot of clean water has its own benefits in keeping your body healthy.Drinking water keeps your body hydrated and also aids in digestion.

in the morning you can decide to take a raw carrot or a cucumber when you wake up. During the night before you sleep, you can eat either a vegetable or a fruit salad.Carrots contain vitamin A which aids in eyesight while a cucumber aids in reducing cancer,regulates pressure and keeps the body hydrated.It also jas beta-carotene that fight radicals in your body hence keeping your cells safe from damage .Greeb beans also provide fibre and vitamin K that aids regulating blood clotting and for women it has a lot more benefits.It aids in reducing menstrual flow and pain,releives nausea during pregnancy and prevents haemorrhage in babies. Haemorrhage is a disorder that occurs in the first few days of life of the baby after delivery.
